SHIFT Community Update #44
Q3 event today, new members and Wimbledon
Hey SHIFT Community, here’s your update on all things SHIFT.
For the past two weeks, the nation has had their eyes glued to Wimbledon.
This year, human line judges were replaced by electronic systems, which sparked controversy in the fourth round when the system was accidentally switched off, causing a miscall.
We have all had the stress of a demo going wrong and proving once again that sometimes, even the fanciest tech needs a good old-fashioned, “Have you tried turning it off and on again?”.
